The Kar Sewa of the ‘Ik Onkar Mool Mantar Asthan’ is being constructed on the site of Sant Ghat Gurudwara, Sultanpur Lodhi, Punjab, India. The project commenced in October 2018.

The primary purpose of constructing this new spiritual retreat is to lovingly commemorate the 550th Parkash Purb, or Birth Anniversary, of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji (1469–2019), which was celebrated on 12 November 2019.

It is hoped that future generations visiting the ‘Ik Onkar Mool Mantar Asthan’ will deepen their understanding of the life and legacy of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, especially through the divine updesh shared

before, during, and after the four significant journeys known as the ‘Udasis’. The retreat will host continuous Naam Simran, ongoing 24 hours a day, in perpetuity.

Gurudwara Sant Ghat Sahib has also been redeveloped, including the widening of the external parikarma, new direct access to the retreat complex, and a new arched domed entrance.

The Kar Sewa project is being undertaken jointly by two organisations: Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha (India) and Qila Sri Anandgarh Sahib, District Ropar, Punjab, India.
